I have seriously been on a lemon kick lately. And while it is not necessarily on my list of superfoods, it pairs quite nicely with them. And it gives me a great excuse to make yummy things.
I based this bread recipe off of one I saw on Allrecipes. I did do a good bit of modification to fit the rules and used Meyer lemons because that is what I had on hand. I actually highly recommend using Meyer lemons because I personally think their slight sweetness really made the recipe (plus they are thought to be a cross between a lemon and an orange so that might count as a superfood…) This was a huge hit—my husband and I loved it! Enjoy!!
