Okay, these brownies are slightly unconventional but they were super easy to make. Plus they are gluten free and made with some superfoods! This recipe is more like a review as I pretty much made this recipe just as it was written.
When these were baking it was unmistakable that I was making brownies—they smelled so delicious. But I do have to say when we were eating them you did get a slight hint of beans. Which surprisingly wasn’t too terrible, but slightly strange nonetheless. If I made these again I would add a lot more dark chocolate chips and walnuts because it definitely helps with the texture (the recipe here is adjusted with this recommendation), and maybe some flour to make them a little less bean-like texture and a little more like a cake.
