Sweet potato fries are all the craze right now. And who could blame them? They are wonderfully delicious! I love making my own sweet potato “fries” at home. It’s such an easy, tasty side dish. And it’s perfect for fall!
Sweet potatoes, skinned and diced
You can dice the sweet potatoes however you would like—like fries, or thinner so they bake quicker. Then I usually put them in a plastic zip bag or bowl and toss with about a tablespoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of seasonings (I love using Tom Douglas’ Rub With Love Chicken Rub). Then spread them out on a cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for about 20-30 minutes. They are a little softer than your typical fries but just think you avoided all that deep-frying. So easy and so nutritious!
