On Sunday evening, my husband and I hosted an Arrested Development viewing party. After a seven-year hiatus, they finally released a long anticipated 4th season on Netflix. Since we are big fans, we thought that was more than reason enough to put up a projector in our backyard and invite some friends over to watch its debut.
For those of you who are fans, you know there are several food items that are a must at an Arrested Development party—cornballs, juice boxes, ice cream sandwiches, and most definitely frozen bananas. We had all of that, plus a few more.
The hit, of course, were the frozen bananas. And surprisingly they were pretty simple and easy to make. I used the basic instructions from the JoyOfBaking.com website, I just made a much larger batch for the party.
I will definitely be making these again! Someone at the party said it was almost like they were eating creamy banana ice cream. I couldn’t have agreed more. I am pretty excited there are some bananas leftover from the party still in my freezer.
