It’s that time of year again where many hours are spent in the kitchen preserving our summer harvests so we can enjoy them in the months to come.
This year has been exceptionally fruitful for me, and I have been so thankful. So far, I’ve canned tomatoes, made strawberry jam, salsa, pesto and some pickles from produce in my garden. And next week I am gearing up to make some fig preserves with figs from my friend’s yard. I can’t wait!
