Christmas has come and gone, but the holiday spirit is still living on in our house through all our delicious leftover goodies.
I can’t remember a Christmas holiday without eating Grandma’s hot fudge sauce on top of peppermint ice cream. The richness of the chocolaty fudge sauce on the cool peppermint ice cream just has Christmas written all over it.
We are from Texas so most of the time Blue Bell peppermint ice cream has been our go to pick. But this year I thought I would mix it up a little and try making homemade peppermint ice cream instead. And it didn’t disappoint.
